Looking positively Radiant
When a former boss and a former corporate colleague (not to mention guitar-playing pal) -- both good friends -- gang up to form a new venture, naturally I pay attention.
Not to mention the fact they asked Small Initiatives to engineer their Web site (a Drupal project, natch) and design corporate branding.
Thus, enter Radiant Markets, which, per the launch announcement, will "target advertisers across key categories to show that its proprietary results management engine and learning CRM can drive effective campaigns. Radiant will partner with key solution providers, including search, video, email and graphical ads, to ensure advertisers get optimal results."
Wes Jackson, the CEO, was a colleague from Belo Interactive days. Bob Benz, the COO, ran Scripps Interactive Newspapers Group until about a year ago. I know what they can do, so I'm bullish on Radiant. Tough economy or not, I can't wait to see this thing take off for them.
